And we’re back!!! And it feels SOOOOO good to be writing another Tea is for Tuesday for everyone!
Persephone’s Herbal wants to apologize first and foremost that we just dropped off the face of the Earth without word or sound from us. I, Christina, do our Tuesday posts and I had a job that was just too demanding. It was already hard to balance work, subscription boxes, and also house duties… something had to give and it was the posts. While they aren’t strenuous, they still took time I didn’t have. My house suffered next. But I’ve since left that job a couple weeks ago and landed in something that far better suited for balance, which gives me less stressed out days, too! This was actually the motivation for this tea recipe I found.
One of the reasons I left the previous job is because Jared and I are trying to have a baby. It was impossible to do with the 12-14 hour days, walking for 6-8 hours straight in all weather, and still running a business after work. Just couldn’t do it. The 9 to 5 life is best for now since building out family is what we are wanting to do. In searching for things to help us out, I’ve stumbled upon dozens of tea recipes to help while your pregnant. This is one that’s going in the books for me to try when I finally am! Hope you all enjoy!
I found this over at The Untrained Housewife and it just sounds wonderful!
In a mason jar or any container add:
- 1 cup of cut dried Red Raspberry Leaves
- 1 cup of cut and dried Oat Straw
- 1/2 cup of cut dried Peppermint Leaves
Shake Well. This tea can be brewed hot and drank hot or brewed hot and drank cold. You can easily put loose tea in your cup and strain or purchase mesh tea balls for your loose tea.
