It’s Tuesday!  So that means TEA!!!  And it’s officially Spring, too!  And here in Memphis it feels like Spring, almost Summer today actually.  Our humidity is a killer. But the coming warmth and humidity is why I opted for an iced tea recipe today. I won’t lie I haven’t tried this recipe but it sure does sound scrumptious! Hoping to get all the ingredients soon and give it a go.  So without further waiting – let’s toast to Spring!



  • OR 1.5-2.5 grams of loose green tea

Mix 1 cup water, the mint, basil, sage and honey in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the tea bags and steep, about 2 minutes. Pour the tea into a pitcher. Add the iced water and ice. Serve the tea cold.  Serves 4.
