Jared and I have had some crazy things going on lately in our personal life. Not only with us but with our family, and this is where I draw this week’s inspiration for a recipe. I’m reverting back to the book from last week as it’s just loaded with some seriously amazing recipes that you guys really should check out!
This tea is said to help with “lowering bad cholesterol and supporting healthy blood flow.” And ingredients like hawthorn and hibiscus are known to help with lowering blood pressure, too.
The holidays are time of stress, alongside health issues relating to the colder temps for more. So if you feel you might need a little extra help this season, give it a good and tell us what you think in the comments!
- 1 part hawthorn leaf
- 1 part hawthorn berry
- 1 part cinnamon
- 1 part linden
- 1 part dried berries or 1 part mint (optional)
- 0.5 part hibiscus
- 0.5 part lemongrass
- 0.5 part orange peel
Pour 1.5 cups hot water over 1 to 2 tablespoons tea. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Sweeten as desired.
